Chamber Committees

The Chamber relies on the strength of its volunteers to continue its mission. Volunteering with the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce is the first step in taking full advantage of your membership in the organization. It gives you the opportunity to directly contribute to the economic prosperity of Riverside with your time and talents, while simultaneously growing professionally and developing lasting relationships with other business leaders.

There are several ways to get involved:

Riverside College & Career Fair

The Riverside College & Career Fair is presented by Bank of America. Over 7,000 high school students, college students, and their families come to the Galleria at Tyler to gain one-stop access to future education opportunities and career pathways. Counselors from Riverside, Alvord, and Jurupa Unified School Districts, and local colleges and universities will provide free information on financial aid, college eligibility and admissions, interview tips, and resources for each student’s next steps.

Over 190 colleges, universities, local businesses, and support-resources organizations. Exhibitors educate attendees on career pathways and give them the opportunity to build relationships for future internship and mentorship opportunities. Do not miss the chance to make an impact on Riverside’s future workforce by hosting a booth at this year’s event. Exhibitors have the unique opportunity to educate students by providing valuable information and resources on career pathways.

The Chamber hosts a laptop giveaway to donate four laptop computer systems to four local high school students to assist in their future educational endeavors. Through this event and other initiatives, the Chamber’s Business Education Partnership Council works to support local education. Strong local education leads to an educated workforce and a strong local economy.
