Chamber Committees
The Chamber relies on the strength of its volunteers to continue its mission. Volunteering with the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce is the first step in taking full advantage of your membership in the organization. It gives you the opportunity to directly contribute to the economic prosperity of Riverside with your time and talents, while simultaneously growing professionally and developing lasting relationships with other business leaders.
There are several ways to get involved:
Governmental Affairs Council
The Governmental Affairs Council (GAC) provides a basis for the Chamber to act on local, state and federal government issues. GAC members review and take positions on a range of business-related issues and vote to approve any legislative positions that align with the Board-approved policy platform.
Members have the opportunity to engage policy stakeholders from Sacramento and Washington, D.C. on key business priorities across a broad range of topics, including education, employee relations, the environment, healthcare, infrastructure, the military, and trade.
