Event Description:
Come enjoy the festivities as Evergreen Historic Memorial Cemetery will host a "Founders Day Front Row Fireworks" extravaganza in the cemetery at the base of Mt. Rubidoux. It will be all-day family fun, food, and entertainment ending with the best seats in town to watch the fireworks display from Mt. Rubidoux.
General admission is $5, $1 for kids 3-12, and free to kids 2 and under. Premier parking will be available in the lots at 14th and Brockton Streets for $2 and includes shuttle bus transportaion to and from the cemetery. Food for purchase will be In N Out Burger from 6:30- 8:30pm, shaved ice, Schwans Ice Cream and Popsicles, iced coffee drinks, and tons of cool water!
There will also be a stage with live entertainment and fun activities for kids, including static displays by the fire and police departments, and guided tours of our Founders' final resting places. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and their own food and beverage (no alcohol permitted.)
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Evergreen Historic Memorial Cemetery, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the cemetery maintained and "For Evergreen." |
