With a 362-bed capacity, the hospital offers the unique privacy and convenience of single-patient rooms. As a teaching hospital, RCRMC provides a broad base of academic and clinical training for physicians, physician assistants, nurses and allied healthcare professionals. From its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to the Level II Trauma Center, which is the busiest in Riverside County, to the 70-plus specialty care clinics, RCRMC is designed to meet unique healthcare needs.

The March Healthcare Development LifeCare project will provide the development of a state-of-the-art, integrated healthcare campus. The campus provides for a wide range of general and military medical-related services, including hospitals, general and specialty medical offices, medical retail, research and education, a wellness center, a senior center, independent/assisted-living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and related support facilities. Currently, approximately half of the residents of southwestern Riverside County leave the area to obtain necessary and elective healthcare services. The project will facilitate the development of an integrated master-planned campus to address the entire healthcare continuum.

They have offices on Brockton Avenue in Riverside, on Day Street in Moreno Valley, on Magnolia Avenue in Corona, and on Clay Street in Jurupa Valley. They are a premier provider of quality diagnostic imaging and preventative screening services including MRI, CT and PT-CT. Pharmacies are at the Brockton and Canyon Springs clinics and a surgery center is on the campus of the Brockton Avenue clinics. An outgrowth of the original Sanitarium on the hill in 1905, the present 11-story Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) opened on July 9, 1967. With the completion of the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) in late 1993, nearly 900 beds are available for patient care, including at Loma Linda University Medical Center East Campus and Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center (LLUBMC). Loma Linda University Health Care (LLUHC), a management service organization, supports the many programs and services provided by our 400+ faculty physicians. LLUMC operates some of the largest clinical programs in the United States in areas such as neonatal care and outpatient surgery and is recognized as the international leader in infant heart transplantation and proton treatments for cancer. Each year, the institution admits more than 33,000 inpatients and serves roughly half a million outpatients. LLUMC is the only level one regional trauma center for Inyo, Mono, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.
